Autism Plus Commissioning Team

Autism Plus contract with 30 Purchasing Agencies throughout the UK and we provide an increasing range of support that is highly valued by our stakeholders. This has led to an increasing demand on our offering being extended geographically. Whilst Autism remains at the heart of our support offering, our response driven by demand, has increasingly been extended to people with other disabilities including those with learning disabilities, mental health, sensory impairments and physical disabilities.

We have recently increased our supported living and residential capacity in Yorkshire and as a consequence we are better placed to respond more rapidly to referral enquiries and in particular to those purchasing authorities looking to place people in need of an emergency response placement.

Historically most of our referrals have continued to come from throughout the length and breadth of the UK including of course Yorkshire based authorities. Whilst our capacity to continue to respond nationally has increased, we are working with a number of purchasing authorities within and without Yorkshire to offer planned provision in other communities.

We have established a Commissioning Team that also includes a central Bidding Team that has the ability to respond to spot purchase, block contracts and commissioning by way of tendering.

Employment Referrals 

Jobsteps - Autism Plus has contracted with DWP, A4E, Shaw Trust, Working Links and VC Train to deliver a range of Employment Services in South and West Yorkshire, Derbyshire and the North West.

We deliver our Employment Services under the name of Jobsteps and are currently delivering the following programmes:
